About Rhode Island Iron Works
Q: How long has Rhode Island Iron Works been in business?
A: Mack and Patricia Storey opened the business in 1969 in Jamestown, RI. Back then we were called Jamestown Welding and Ornamental Iron.
The need for more space and a central location necessitated that in 1981 we move our company to Greenville, RI. Our new name, Rhode Island Iron Works more accurately defines what we do.
Mack passed on in 1979 After which his sons Ron and Vincent continued the tradition of creating custom steel products that are built with quality and perfection.
Vincent passed way to soon in 2009. Ron continues to run the business with his wife Donna and their daughter Mackenzie Bentley. Over the years Mackenzie has acquired the unique skills and dedication to assist with the process of creating the exceptional products we offer. Mackenzie will continue our tradition of quality and perfection long into the future!
