Railing Installation Process
Rhode Island Iron Works installs your railing using a water-cooled diamond core drill. This process does not damage your steps because of the gentle action of the diamond drill machine

Cement Core

We align railing to proper plumb before final installation

Elevated Mounting Shoe
The heavy cast iron mounting shoe is installed prior the final post installation

Industrial Grade Mounting Cement
The industrial grade mounting cement is properly measured prior to mixing

Industrial Grade Mounting Cement
The industrial grade mounting cement is mixed to proper consistency

Mounting Cement Is Poured
After mixing the mounting cement is poured into the mounting shaft

Cement Is Allowed to Cure
The industrial grade is allowed to cure forming a rock hard mixture

Base Shoe Preparation
Additional cement is applied to mount the cast iron base shoe

The base shoe is firmly mounted to step

Excess material is removed before final cleaning

After the railing has been installed the railing steps are cleaned
